Esport is a competitive playing of video games. It still hasn’t been recognized as a sport, just as a competition. But, we’ve seen with our own eyes that sports psychologists have a lot to do in esport.

One of the biggest problems gamers face is burnout because they usually play too much and then don’t rest enough or don’t rest properly.

Most matches last for a couple of hours so it’s really important for gamers to be able to maintain high focus for a longer period of time.

As in every other team, performance suffers if the team cohesion is bad and if the communication is inadequate or none.

Emotional control

It is very important to stay calm during matches, also gamers need to learn how to perform under pressure and how to handle the demands the organization puts on them.

Maintaining high motivation

Sometimes not everything goes as planned, that’s why it’s very important to focus n the right things and keep the motivation high even when the results are bad.
